We had the privilege of hosting Louise Macdonald OBE, the (interim) Director General of Economy, as part of a day-long trip around Dumfries & Galloway, organised by South of Scotland Enterprise.
Louise visited Newbie alongside Dr Martin Valenti (Director for Net Zero SOSE), Richard Rawlinson (Head of Trade & Investment, Scottish Gov) and Anne Ashton (Scottish Government Sponsorship Team) with the purpose of meeting with a cross-section of businesses from across the region.
We used this unique opportunity to showcase some of APD’s capabilities, in particular the exciting developments within the APD Energy side of the business. It was great to demonstrate what businesses in the south west are capable of and we felt the group left with a real sense of excitement for the projects on the horizon at APD.
